i never got to see them live. that's so unfortunate.

it was really bizarre. when my boyfriend told me, i insisted he was making it up until i saw the article myself. then i wanted to lock all of my friends in my bedroom closet because it's really unsettling that someone can be standing in front of you, and then six hours later, dead. it just makes everything seem so fragile.

it really does. i can't even imagine. the closest thing was seeing the smashing pumpkins live right before they broke up. not quite as extreme, i'd say. heh.
