Cleanup
Yesterday I managed to get the basement and shop cleaned up from Pennsic for about 10 minutes Then I realized while cleaning that I really needed to reorganize things as I was still not making good use of my limited space. Chomping at the bit...
One more work day, and one day of packin' and loading and we'll be off. Tomorrow is filled with mind-numbing meetings and getting things buttoned up for my absence. And if I'm lucky a haircut. Land Grab
Setting up base camp went off without a hitch. Got the truck loaded up Friday and departed at a leisurely 7:00 a.m. Brief stop in Breezewood for $3.89/gal. gas and then on to Cooper's Lake. It's Over, and it Begins...
Audit is over, our French customers have departed for sightseeing before they leave tomorrow evening. Could have been much, much worse. And we now have a new office gesture; in honor of our French project manager who doesn't seem to know much about anything, the Gallic Shrug.
And now time to pack for Land Grab. -
Shotgun Update (lotsa little bullets)
- Hanging out while team tests a patch. Have done my bit but don't want to leave them here on a Friday night.
- Novice Tourney was fun but HOT. Actually did very little but it was nice seeing folks.
- Our French counterparts are amazingly good at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
- Next week is audit hell week.
- Company picnic was fun but HOT.

Four blessed days without contact with the office. Going back will be a shock to the system, but it was nice while it lasted.
Friday and Saturday was spent bopping around central Virginia checking out possible real estate, eating good food, and seeing friends we don't see enough of. Today I mostly putzed around in the shop, turning a jar:
