The hallway was nearly empty when Riley slipped out of his potions classroom. He'd told Snape that he needed to run errands for Professor Sprout, and he'd believed every word of it!
There were definitely understated perks to being a prefect at Hogwarts.
"Um, your welcome?" Riley answered, glancing down on the familiar sight of his girl, and the unfamiliar one of her books strewn everywhere. Without being asked, he bent to help.

She was being difficult, but was also visably upset. He didn't want to make her any more upset.. but there were definitely things they needed to say. Things he needed to know. Things Riley had to tell her.
Riley sighed, "Angelina.."
He raked his hands through his hair, frustrated with how difficult it was to be careful with what he said.
But then there was an idea.
"Would you answer my questions, then? You don't even have to talk," Riley crossed the room and pulled over both Miles' and his chairs from their respected desks; one for him, one or Angelina, "Here, sit. Just.. Yes and No?"

Yes and no's. She could do that. Why was it so hard to talk to him about this? Why did it have to be so damn difficult?
Nodding she say in the chain given to her, leaning forward and staring at the floor. "Go ahead." This had to happen. They had to deal with this and despite wanting to leave and curl up in her bed she sat there, leaning forward, waiting for his questions.
