She was making her way down the hallway alone. Katie and Alicia were ahead of her, Angie telling Alicia she needed to talk to Snape after potions which was a fat lie. But for the last few days Angie just wasn't herself.
On Saturday she ditched her meeting with Riley. She couldn't talk to him, still angry and unsure of everything.
Saint Patty's Day she tried to forget and just pretended like everything was alright but it wasn't.
Her friends, her boyfriend, even Quidditch was getting shafted. School work was her only saving grace but now she didn't want to go to transfiguration. Angie just didn't have the patience or energy after potions.
Within a few minutes Katie and Alicia were off down the hall and Angie followed aimlessly with the crowd. She looked lost, completely out of it and her wrist ached from holding her books.
"Sorry!" Some first year came running down the hall and knocked Angie and her books, the whole stack hitting the floor and skidding.
"Thanks a lot!" Angie called after the Hufflepuff but softly cursing to herself she bent down and started cleaning up her crap as the hallway started to empty.
