Oh my GOODNESS that dream fic!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly the quality of it having been an email blearily sent, phone typos and all, somehow adds to the experience. Instead of found footage it's like found fiction and there's just something about the fleeting quality, the sense of it having been an experience jotted down and stuffed in some glove compartment (under the guns), that is just excellent. The whole thing made my breath catch in my throat. I love it so much it is poetry

Ugh, sorry to hear about COVID coming to call once more. Omicron, go away. I hope your dad has a mellow go of it (at least no broken bones this time? D:). <33333 And I hope Billie stays stalwart for a while with her new $1500 kicks. Mechanic shops always amaze me because I'll be at Meijer and be like, "these will go on sale at some point and be 19 cents cheaper! I shan't buy them until that happens!" and then go to the mechanics and be like "ah yes, $1500" and just pony up immediately

Yesss! I love Dream Fic, I truly do. <333 When I first began typing up this post, I started describing the dream in case the typos were too confusing; but then I was like, No no no. I keep a notebook by my bed to record dreams and or fic thoughts (none of those for the last several years though) and sometimes I've written things down in the dark which have been interesting to try and decipher in the daylight.
Oh Seasons! I still haven't read all the fics in that anthology - must now (re-?)read Kalliel's.

I love the idea of keeping a journal specifically for bedtime thoughts or dream-notes. Perhaps I should start one! I used to have a journal where I wrote down dreams after the fact (haven’t used it in years), but daytime recountings don’t have that interesting transient quality that comes with Nighttime Brain.

KALLIEL’S FIC IS SO GOOD. It’s one of my favorite ever short fics. <333 It’s a perfect read regardless of whether or how many times you’ve read it before: ¿Qué pasiones?
