My reasons for getting involved in that incident stemmed from seeing someone attack my son after he tried to be reasonable hit a nerve.

I'm sure you can understand how bearing witness to that would... annoy me.

Look. As it is I'm trying to get the hang of this business of not killing people who attack my family members. It's hard to make these adjustments. And for what it's worth I do regret having had to come to blows with the human and I DO realise that I should have tried to rein in my temper.

However, inbetween upsetting one son, hitting another, and certain utterences about my beloved wife... well, you can see WHY I'd be inclined towards losing my temper, inexcusable as it was.

*looks disgruntled over having had to admit being wrong*
