I don't really go in for the random LOLs. I know lots of people like them, and I've seen a lot of good RPing and writing come about from them, but I've never seen a LOL I just had to jump on (maybe it's because the last big LOL I jumped on led to Claire/Leon OTP ( Read more... )

It was under the guise of Amalgam Comics, don't feel bad.

Hell, something like that would be spiffykeen.

I'd be down for letting people mix up something like RE and DC comics. Because it's crazy :V

You're still just a little bit bitter about that, aren't you? ;-)

I tend to stray away from lol's these days myself. Which is probably why I haven't been rping in the nexus wide area much. Since my pups respond to someone being genderswapped, chibi'd, or something with a roll of their eyes, it's just no fun anymore.

That being said, the canonswap idea sounds kinda cool.

I wouldn't say "bitter." It's more like, I don't seem to be able to play a character who could just laugh off a LOL.

I've been having all these random character interaction ideas lately, and I guess this... is... one of them?

Well, there'd probably be a lot of speculation on how it got there, and they might not even all recognise what it was--I mean, diapers and blankets are a big 'hey, this is an intelligent creature's property' hint, but most predators actually haven't seen humans. (Maybe it's some sort of wierd caterpillar. o.o )

The equivalent of a humanitarian gesture would be keeping the scavengers off without picking it up or stopping it crying--since it's obviously engaging in summoning behavior, they'll give the silly parents longer to find their misplaced offspring. That would take place if anyone cared--possible if there were a few with strong parental instincts, but not likely.

If there was one feeling unusually sympathetic, it might carry the baby to the nearest human and leave it where it would be found quickly.

But Mowgli is unlikely. Even if you've got one batty enough to risk the reputation going along with taking care of an unpredictable, weak, Unblooded outcaste sort of creature, well, these are aliens. The odds of it surviving ( ... )
