I sold 14 items, have two items on hold for customers that didn't have the money with them and got a commission! Once I subtracted the fee for the table and the cost of the jewelry forms and minutia I bought for the sale, I actually made a small profit, not including the held items and the commission. WOOHOO!

beading, doing what i love, thank you universe

Indeed. I was pretty surprised at how well things sold. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Yayyyy!!! [DOES LITTLE CELEBRATORY DANCE] =:o>

I remember the fun of running a stall at a filkcon, selling DVDs from my own colection (plus a few from someone else's) for the entirely worthy cause of making myself "a bit less broke". I thought if I was lucky, I might sell enough to cover half the cost of being at the con... In fact I covered it all, and still had plenty of time to enjoy the rest of teh con.

But how much more satisfying for the customers to be paying you for something you actually made yourself! =:o}

It was pretty satisfying. The other vendors complimented me on my wares as well, which was nice.

Yes, very exciting. There is talk of a Fall fair and I'm already thinking about Fall themed pieces. Yikes.
