I love UUCQ, my congregation for the last two years, but since they decided to let the pastor go due to money woes, I've been reconsidering if it is the best place for me. We voted today on whether or not to have a part time pastor because at least some of us want to grow spiritually and may need spiritual guidance or support during difficult times

One of the only things I dislike about UU fellowships is that with a so-so minister or over-reliance on guest speakers, they can be total snoozefests. I feel as if, for some congregations, it might as well be a lecture series as a church fellowship. Money woes can really suck.
