Today would have been Liam's 44th birthday. We always celebrate that event with one of his favorite meals, either meatloaf or tacos. While it is sad he isn't here, I always celebrate the day he was born because that was a marvelous day indeed. Happy Birthday, Honey.

Happy bday to Liam! In that pictures his hat almost looks like a cake with candles. Can't you just see him marching around in a cake hat with 44 flaming candles, looking like a human flashlight? :-)

As for the timing with the rest of your life.....yeesh. In your position I'd either stay as busy as possible today or stay in bed asleep the whole time. No idle brain space.

That picture was taken at a family friend's wedding and it captures him perfectly. I actually can see him doing what you described, he was a nut.

I'm trying to stay busy and I've already considered a nap since we got home at 1 in the morning. But right now I'm waiting for the damn phone to ring and counting the minutes to 6 pm so I can see her.

Our plan was tacos. Since I can't cook them, we are bringing Taco Bell to the ward tonight.
