I'm heartened by kommunalrådet of Gothenburg declaring this "unacceptable", since that's Swedish politician speak for "effing ridiculous and a disgrace".

That's easy to address. "Hello, children. I just thought you should know that while most of you boys think girls have cooties, and most of you girls think the same of all the boys, most of you will one day like each other a lot. However, a few of you will like members of your own sex instead, and a few of you will like both. This is perfectly normal, and if your parents say it's morally wrong, they're fucking idiots. Please cope with this new information better than they do."
