Poly is complicated as fuck. I've been at it for several years (a few of them without really having a name for it), and I'm still learning.

Be prepared to be working on this for a while. But hey, a lot of the work is going to be a lot of fun.

It is complicated, but also strangely simple at the same time. At least in the situation I'm in now. So far I've figured that it comes down to communication and honesty. When Alex, Joel and I started this relationship, I was almost brutally honest with how I work and the people already in my life. Or heart, rather, since I wasn't in a relationship at the time. And to my great surprise, it turned out that they're fine with it

Yay for the Filthy! *does a little dance* I guess I'm weird in that there is really nothing I find weird. I always figured that as long as everyone involved is a consenting adult, any- and everything is awesome. Also, gaining greater knowledge of oneself is awesome-with-cake. Not that the announcement itself is news to me.
