Wow, so I haven't updated this thing in a really long time. Like a crazy long time. That's insane!! I really doubt anyone reads this either way, but for posterity's sake, here's a run-down of some movies I've seen recently:

I hate Stephen King. Want to know why?

Because he wrote a really good story and then they made a movie of it and put John Cusack in it, and bam, yeah, now I'm totally in love with him. The man's 16 years older than me, but I'd marry him in a second. Have his babies the next second.

Wow...I've been gone from this thing for a few months, huh? Well, the thing is, I haven't really seen any new films recently, and though I know I can review the ones I have seen - eh....what can I say, I guess I'm lazy.

But out of the sake of boredom, I've got two new movies to say things about:

So - you ever get in those moods for serious, depressing dramas about people who are so tragically flawed, they never even find redemption in the end?

Yeah, I thought not. I can't really get into the mood for these films either, but something or other will draw me into them ever so often. In the case of Sherrybaby, it was Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Let me start off by saying for the record, I don't quite like parodies that much. I can appreciate them sure, especially if they're done well, but I've had a distaste for them ever since I saw Not Another Teen Movie. So this weekend, after having a crazy, incredibly crappy week, I decided to get a little retail therapy and headed over my local mecca of used DVD's, Dimple Records. After some browsing, I was fortunate enough to come across the movie Loser, which I hadn't seen in awhile.
