*waves* I try to keep up with ya on FB, but now that my work's blocked it, it's pretty impossible to keep up with everything over there...brain overload! But all's well with me. Here's to continued good health and luck to all of us!

So nice to see you back on LJ! I was just thinking about you a couple of days ago and wondering if (like so many folks), you'd abandoned LJ for good. (It's a bit like a ghost town here. And I can't claim to be any better--I wander between Tumblr, Twitter and FB, satisfied with none of them, and mourn the thriving community LJ used to be.

I used to attend WindyCon frequently, but lately (money and health difficulties, and no car), I haven't been able to go, and I miss it.

Whoof. Sorry for difficulties -- been there, done that, kinda doin' it now. No possibilities for a ride or anything?

I should see if there's a LJ app, as I use my iPad a lot, and sometimes don't even bother taking my laptop on the road. (Well, the fact that it's six years old and running Vista has something to do with that as well.) I hardly ever use Twitter, and I haven't done much with Pinterest this year either. Too Damn Many Social Media Options.

Glad to have confirmation you will be at FenCon! I hope to be there for one of your concerts. Can't spend the whole weekend at the con, but $20 for a concert ticket is better than I get a lot of other places, so hey.

Understood. Let me check my schedule from them... I have concerts Friday night at 9:00 and Sunday at 1:00. If you show up for that one, I'll do my best to just let you slide in without getting a badge, if you weren't going to anything else.

For the most part.. finances are tight b/c of the "adjunct crisis." He's trying to figure out what else one can do with a humanities doctorate.
