Overnight, things apparently went completely berserk in the Boston area. Information is obviously sketchy (here's a good aggregate at dKos), but two men suspected of being the Boston Marathon bombers killed an MIT police officer, robbed a 7-11, hijacked a Mercedes SUV, and then got startedOne of the suspects is dead, the other is considered armed

I wish. I've been trying to get in touch with the owner of the practice I'm supposed to be working at today for an hour and a half with no response.

TECHNICALLY her practice is about a half-mile outside the mandatory lockdown zone, so it looks like I'm going in to work today. I am doing my best not to freak the hell out......

I'm a little surprised NEFFA is still happening. On the other hand, if it weren't for unrelated things at work, I'd be driving there today.
