Lots of cool vids in the news this morning, including at least one where either the cameraman or the camera itself went end-over-end. (I can't tell if ny of the ones you linked here include this one, since vides on LiveJournal stopped working in Chrome for me for some reason.) They also had Neil deGrasse Tyson on explaining why this was a coincidence and not related to the near-miss scheduled for later in the day. He also explained that this sort of airburst actually happens about once per decade, but 2/3 of them happen over water where nobody usually sees them and they leave no evidence behind.
FWIW, since I am totally an astro buff whose heroes include Eugene and Carolyn Shoemaker (who discovered the comet that hit Jupiter) and Mae Jamison (first female African-American in space, guest started on Star Trek: TNG), I bring you:
Including: one compilation vid of all the "what it looked like" fireball videos, one compilation vid of "what it sounded like" videos including the disturbing one that smparadox mentioned, the Tyson interview, and some other stuff.
