I'm happy Feed by Mira Grant was nominated. I'm currently reading it and its terrific.

I'm a little bemused and puzzled by the nom for "Fuck Me Ray Bradbury". Not quite sure what I think about it.

Over all its a fine list, but man, I wish people would get out of the print fanzine mindset when nominated fan artists.

I find myself wondering exactly HOW big the wankstorm will be if Randall Munroe wins the category.

I won't be eligible to vote this year, so I don't know how many nominees I'll read or watch.

Feed is the only fiction nominee I've read, and it deserves the nom ( ... )

For various reasons, I was way behind on Doctor Who. I just saw the double ep yesterday. It was astonishing. And I loved the bit you invoke. :D

"The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms" is excellent, and Nora Jemisin deserves her nomination for it. The Best Novel slate is a very tough one this year.

Don't forget that Seanan has a piece in the also-nominated Chicks Dig Time Lords (Best Related Work).

My comment to gridlore as I was reading the list earlier: "Oh, look! johnnyeponymous has two more to lose!" (Chris Garcia, nominated for both Best Fan Writer and The Drink Tank as Best Fanzine) When relaying this to Chris on Twitter, he informed us that they're better to lose in pairs. ;-)

My first thought is that I'll have an easy time getting through the Best Novel nominees. I've already read three of the five (Mira, Lois and Connie).

My second thought is that I might just attend the Hugos for the first time in 16 Worldcons.
