I strongly suspect "Jane Guntherson" would be Jane Garthson. (janeg) If I'm remembering the contest results right, "Gretchen who's-surname-I-don't-know" would be Ingrid de Buda. :-)
Yes, Phillip is remembering the contest winner correctly, and I have one other correction - I also received an Honorable Mention in the hugging contest, which rather surprised me.
Oh, and it was great to see you. Sorry that I didn't get to spend as much time with you as I would have liked, but that's kind of a given at these things.
I agree completely with the latter. I'm sorry we never had a chance to do German songs together, and that we never ended up in the same filk room. The first night, I was in the very small filk and you in the big one...sounds like the reverse the next night. :-)
Just one note...if you want to be interviewed by the filk film people, go up and ask them. That's what I did. I said "So, I'd be willing to talk to you if you want." And they said "Sure!" It's not like you have to sit around being interesting until you entice them, honest. *grin* I think they're trying to be minimally intrusive, so they aren't asking every random person to talk to them - but they're sure happy when people do!
And in totally irrelevant corrections, Heather Dale actually was at FKO Friday and Sunday and Ad Astra on Saturday, proving that she's completely insane; I heard the story when she came to pick Dave (Clement) up on Monday. Wish we'd heard more of her, though.
I was feeling kind of pouty about not being interviewed by the film crew and then mid-Sunday I ended up the elevator with the dark-haired-woman and she asked me then. They probably watched at the sound table and the mic arranging and thought you'd never have time!
Thank you for singing Uffington Hill! Because yours was the first Uffington Hill I ever heard, I'm afraid it will always be the definitive version for me.
*hugs* Thanks, Dave, for the warm welcome, and the single malt, and the singing, and breakfasting, and everything. You really helped make it a con and not biding-time-until-I-return-to-college. I am so glad you made it.

And yeah, I don't think any of us got to spend enough time with everyone else!

I *did* see her in the audience for a bit, but not for very long.

(I'm sure that when I finally hear Talis singing it, I'll think: But Dave doesn't sing it that way!)

Oh, did you get my email with the lyrics and chords and the pointer to the mp3?
