I still need to write about GAFilk and Arisia and Saturday's adventures in radio and at the company party, but for now, I want to go in another direction. I've been waiting eagerly for the next book in Ben Aaronovitch's Rivers of London series, which has been delayed multiple times here and is finally scheduled for US release on 31 January. In

Jazz is good. Rivers books are good. Enjoy both!
Have you managed to read any of the short stories yet? At least one of them is available on Ben's website. Also make sure you read the graphic novels as they fit nicely into the continuity and are now getting referenced to in the main novels (although Black Mold is still being serialised as comics - I'm waiting for the omnibus version to come out).

I haven't read the short stories, and I've read....two, I think, of the graphic novels. Lots of fun.
