NaNoWriMo why wait?

I'm sure you've heard of National Novel Writing Month which happens every year in October. It is the challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in 31 days. I have recently challenged myself and my daughter's friends to try this, only we decided to do it now instead of waiting for October. Cassie has several stories she's been talking about. ...perhaps it's time I filled in those few missing pages and started a major edit. I have the time, and no excuse. Besides it would do me good to look over the story it took over half a year to write.
Good luck with your efforts. Naturally I find the end of the story of Mickle far more interesting than the prologue. Still there are lessons to be learned there even if they aren't the big one. In truth if you can finish that last part you will have bested JK Rowlings. Despite aging at the end of his story he never grew up. I wonder how far Clieme's influence extended into the early adventures of Mickle.

As little as she could manage. Clieme did not want to negate any of the world-changing effects Mickle had created, but she can't have been entirely successful. (There was that whole trial thing.)
