DGM, "Phoenix Generous"

Christmas is a trying time for Allen, but Lavi doesn't plan to give Allen anything ordinary. He has to give Allen something thoughtful. Something unique. Something -- irreplaceable.

Warnings: Slightly saladfic'd. Lavi is stubborn and also creative. Completely unfounded extrapolations of canon. Part of the Phoenix chronology, but not directly ( Read more... )

In the end I didn't get to incorporate my ideas about how much Allen HATES SNOW, but I'm sure I'll have the chance before it gets unseasonal. XD And it was just so neat and complete in this format. ♥ No failreview! All comments are loved. *cuddles!*

Oh, now you've got me curious. (And with the record-setting cold front ripping across the continent at this very moment, I would think many would share such a sentiment!) And goodness, that's a relief. Because my immediate response had nothing intelligent about it at all-not that this has anything of substance to add to it, mind you. XD

Oh, my God, this is just SO sweet, and SO much like Lavi-as-Bookman - you have a real grasp on what a Bookman's life would realistically be like. Having him go off looking for the circus where Allen grew up is a great twist, and the part about the family that should have been his was so sad (although, in the end, he ended up with a much better family in the form of the Order). And giving Allen a true *Christmas" is the best, and most unique gift Lavi could give him.

You've delivered yet another fabulous fic about this pairing. Keep them coming!

Wow. That was, uhm. / squealing brbbbbb

The concept and portrayal of the characters was excellent. I love the whole part about Allen's original family, and Lavi taking out the time to find them -- it was so sad. ;___;
Also, I like your style of writing. Awesomeee ~ I'm looking forward to the next installment !

HEH.

When you showed me the snippet, I wondered if that was Allen's mother. :3 Very nice. All of it was really well written and flowed nicely, though my favorite part was the second to last scene with sleepy Allen and Lavi's musings. :)

That was wonderful. It was so cute how Lavi went through all that trouble to get Allen his gift!! Adorable, and so beautifully written. ^__^
