Hehe, thanks! Oh yes, love triangles. I'm not a fan of them as a general rule, but that one in particular is especially aggravating.

i have to admit... i love love triangles, but only for hotness value and a little bit of juicy angst... if there's too much actual canon angst, though, then it just.needs.to.go.away.

on the other hand, i don't watch lost, but from the, like, TWO eps i've seen, i already can't stand that particular love triangle, so... :P

When it comes to love triangles, I suppose it's not the concept itself I dislike, it's more just the way they're often executed--going way overboard with canon angst, like you said. Romantic angst in itself isn't necessarily bad in small doses, it's just that some fandoms pile it on far too much. So all that to say that I agree with you. :p

Oh, and another aspect of two-guys-and-a-girl love triangles I dislike is when they display really juvenile/aggravatingly macho/overly testosterone-fueled behavior on the part of the male characters fighting over the girl.
