The school I go to? Is really, really big. I knew OSU was huge, but I had no idea that it was the largest campus in the United States.A lot of people might view that as a negative--who wants to go to a school where there's such a large number of students that you're basically seen as more of a faceless, nameless number than a person? But I actually ( Read more... )

Yes. Exactly.

I can't wait to get out of here and... well... try and create some pathetic attempt at a life, anyway. But one away from here.

I didn't know it was the largest campus, either. I wouldn't thought I'd known something like that! But that's exactly why my only requirements for a college are large and public. It narrows it down quite a bit. CSU, OSU, Pitt, and Kent are my top in-state choices. I love anonmity. I grew up with it until I had to grow older with it in high school. I can name 80% of my high school class by name, if not more. I'm stick of it.

Good luck on all of your assignments!

I know what you mean, I relish anonymity. I'm not a social creature at all, so I would always feel kind of uncomfortable at my old school whenever I saw people who seemed to know every single other person on the campus. I suppose that makes me sound like some horrible anti-social person, but I guess that's just the way I am. :p

Unfortunately, it's not something fun like LJ. The professor had us create blogs on some not-LJ blogging site, and he gives us questions/issues/topics that we have to respond to in our blogs. We've only done one so far, but it looks like it's mostly going to be politically-centered junk, which to be honest kind of bores me, because I'm so not into politics.

Aha. I figured it was bad, just because the word "blog" is pretty abhorrent by itself. And I was afraid it was some professor's attempt to be trendy and "hey kids, let's blog!" It still may be, but at least it's more boring than lame.
