Date: Wednesday, April 16 Time: 4:00 pm. Place: Ron's Flat, about the shop *much improved!! Characters Involved: Ron Weasley, Lavender Brown Rating: Pg-13
Lavender was a little bit early to Ron's flat, mostly because nerves had gotten the best of her. She had never been nervous before, not even on their last date, but for some reason Lavender's heart was beating like a hummingbird's. Going to Ron's flat where he would prepare a meal for her seemed so much more official than anything they had done before. What would they talk about? What if they had nothing to talk about?
She took a deep breath to try and calm down. It would be fine. It had always been easy to be around Ron and tonight would not be any different... she hoped. There was one thing she wanted to stick to, though and that was to not spend the night. Lavender knew she would be more than tempted to and it would be more than easy to tempt Ron as well, but she wanted to do this right. Lavender wanted this relationship to last and for her, that meant waiting to have sex until she felt they were really committed to each other

Ron heard the knock from the bathroom, and re-checked his features once more, looking for any sign of shaving cream or toothpaste on his cheek or chin. He moved to the front door, and put his hand on the wall, pausing for a moment to steady his nerves and then moved it open

Lavender smiled at Ron's compliment before she was immediately ushered further into the flat. She could tell that Ron was very proud of it, which told Lavender that he must have spruced it up some before she came over.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Ron was pulling her to him and hugging her. "Of course it passes, it's gorgeous," Lavender replied, feeling much calmer with Ron's arms around her. "But I thought you had told me your flat was a mess?"
Then, Ron briefly pressed his lips to hers, which made Lavender forget what she had been talking about. "You've missed me?" she mumbled, still reeling from that tiny kiss. Her insides were screaming at her to return the kiss, deepen it and see where it led, but she cleared her throat instead and stepped out of Ron's embrace.
"I smell something wonderful. What are you making?" Lavender said, trying to change the subject. Plus, she was hungry after an afternoon of worrying about this particular date.
