Ron leaned against the wall, waiting for Katie to arrive. It was his only day off; he had decided to take a break from studying for the day and get out. He was in a very cheerful mood. Lavender had agreed to a second date. A second time to official meet with her and get to know her. He planned on popping into the shop on Monday or Tuesday, to get a cookbook. Ron wondered if Katie would have any suggestions.
He worried about her; he worried about Charlie. It wasn't right that they were going through this, at this point of their marriage. They had been so incredible together; an excellent example of a happily married couple, he thought. His mind was remembering their joined laughter, their intimate holding of each other, and other small things he had noticed when he caught sight of her, walking with the huge dog. He stood up and waved as she approached him, watching to dog's increased excitement at seeing him. He squat down to greet the dog, trying to calm it down, as he looked up at his sister-in-law.

Katie smiled to Ron when she spotted him, Con seemed happy to see him too. She wouldn't really have any suggestions, she'd always been a fairly lacking cook. She was better with order-in type cooking. The kitchen in the house was very nice, but she didn't remember it. She just needed a little time away from the pressure to remember this picture or that tea set, wondering where they had come from

Katie just gave Ron a small smile, “We can walk for a little bit and then maybe have a turn at lunch. I am hungry.” She admitted, giving him a small smile when he said she was looking better. She was obviously feeling better, “It’s gotten easier, I still can’t believe my Quidditch career is over, just like that…. And I don’t even remember it.” She sighed, it was like she didn’t even have an identity anymore

She looked at him out of the corner of her eye, wondering if it was such an instant attraction thing why she didn’t feel the same way now, had something more happened? Had she just changed her mind? Had she been kidding herself? She watched him for a moment, “What is her name?” she asked, knowing that look on his face. He was in love and didn’t realize it
