Wizards Without Magic!

Paranoia is rampant in various magical communities as several prominent wizards and witches have apparently lost their ability to do magic. While foul play is suspected, no evidence can yet be found to substantiate the claims. No potion can be traced, no spell found. Still, Wallace Weatherby of Godric's Hollow has found himself among a small but growing group of wizards affected by this.
The Prophet cannot say more regarding the legitimacy of such claims other than to say we are trying to interview some of the other citizens involved while the Ministry remains close-lipped about this horrific turn of events.
Meanwhile, our sources say St. Mungo's is preparing an entire wing as a Quarantine Unit in case the affliction is found to be some new and horrible virus. No one at the hospital would confirm or deny this rumour. "Honestly, something like that might just cause a panic now, wouldn't it?" said one harried employee.
The Prophet will continue to monitor the reports.
