The last thing Molly had expected when she got home from work was Arthur’s announcement that they were going to Germany for the weekend, but it was more than welcome, as they had not been on one of their weekend getaways since their trip to Sydney. Even though they were expected at Remus and Severus’ bonding the next day, she wasn’t going to protest, as it was easy enough to pop back to Britain for the ceremony before returning to Germany for the rest of their weekend. As she had been with their previous trips, Molly was impressed with Arthur’s hotel choice, and even more impressed with the scenery. Heidelberg was a nice little town by her standards, and she had a feeling that she and Arthur would have plenty of things to explore over the weekend, if they made it out of their hotel room that is.
They were currently strolling along one of the streets, towards the restaurant that Arthur had picked out for their dinner destination. Molly’s fingers were laced with her husband’s, and she had rested her head against his upper arm, allowing him to guide her along while she took in the sights. As it had been so long since their last trip, Molly was looking forward to this one, and she had a feeling that it would be just as wonderful as the previous ones had been.
“What made you choose Heidelberg, Arthur?”
