Charlotte had had a long day. The Valentine's Sale at the Book Store had gone swimmingly. She had finished with her numbers at the shop before she had excused herself to go home to take care of their little miss. Their respective businesses were successful and heartily so. Charlotte wouldn't have it any other way. After settling everything down and spending a little time with their baby, she had settled down to take a nap with their girl until said girl woke up for her dinner ( ... )

He thought that Char must have been sleeping deeper than he’d expected. She seemed somewhat confused as he stood, holding her in front of their new home in Ireland. It was outside of but close enough - yet not too close to Kenmare, where their babe rested easy with Beven, his Mum. He held her close, fumbling a bit with the lock as he opened the front door and then he carried her inside, setting her down gently next to him and holding her upright with his arm.

“’Tis a surprise of sorts, Char, love.” He began, keeping his arm around her as he led her inside a bit so she could get a look at the place. Seasmus flicked his wand to start the fire ablazing and then flicked at the candles on the table as well as others placed ‘round the room to add a bit of light to the fading daylight.

“Do you like it then luv?”

He watched her then, anxious for her reaction.

She felt her bare feet being put down and looked around them, still somewhat half asleep. This definetely wasn't home. She looked up at her husband for a moment, "What 'ave you done, Seamus?" she asked, turning her attention back to the living room with its flickering lights.

"W'at is zis place?" she asked, wondering if he had rented a place for the holiday?

She thought that it was very pretty. She liked the decorations, it felt very homey. It was a lovely surprise. She looked around her though, "Where is Constance?" she asked, turning back to him, a odd little flutter of panic rising in her chest.

Seamus quickly let Charlotte know that their own dear babe was no doubt bewitching her Granny not far from where they stood. Their new place was outside of Kenmare - close enough to be convenient but far enough not to be too convenient.

With her concerns set to rest, at least for an hour or so, she let Seamus show her around the new house in Ireland, delighted with the unexpected Valentine's Day gift her husband had bought her.

While they enjoyed the fine dinner he'd bribed Cook to fix them, it was not long before Char missed her babe and they apparated to Finnigan's in Kenmare to collect their new babe and go back to London. It was, afterall, too soon for the young parents to be seperated from their precious babe. Still, a heart full of love with a wife and new babe made for quite the best Valentine's Day Seamus could imagine, with their new House now another blessing for the three of them to enjoy in the future.
