Draco wandered Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and finally apparated to the one place he knew no one would look for him. He headed to what passed for the backyard of Spinner's End and slumped to the ground under a tree. Curling up in his robes he hung his head. Trying to play back how he'd gotten to this point.
He wasn't drunk anymore, and his second wand was now stashed in his room at the Manor. Still, Ginny Weasley? How drunk had he been?
Drunk enough to spill his desire for Evie to a blood traitor, to then kiss the bloody bint.
He knew it was the full moon, but somehow, he wasn't sure he cared. Severus always had good wards up, and it would be foolish for anyone to attack this place tonight. He stared at the moon, wishing all the world that he could just disappear.
He pulled his knees tighter and felt the device digging into his other ankle. He had chosen his ankle, where he could keep it hidden beneath trousers and robes. What chance did he have now, of getting off the damned Registry? He wasn't sure how to tell his father. Wincing, he pulled tighter into a ball.
