Arthur was back to reading that muggle magazine of his, he was rather enjoying the articles in it. Ceeloolar fellytones were still curious to him, he was going to figure that thing out. He no longer had to wonder about airo-planes, his new daughter in law took care of that for him. He began to wonder about his other children, standing once he heard. He smiled broadly when Ron walked into the room, he hadn't been expecting the visit but he was glad he came.

"Ron! My boy!" He rushed over to him and pulled him in for a hug, "How are you doing?"

"Heh, Da." Ron had set his bag on the table, and returned the hug, with great energy. He was nearly eye to eye with his father now, having grown so much in the past few years. His grin was broad, and he hugged his father again, not realizing just how much he had missed him. "I'm good, I'm good. How are you? I've brought you and Mum some things."

He turned to the bag, and slide it over to his dad. He couldn't wait to see his father's expression, when he opened it. Ron moved forward and peered down into the bag, with his father, "The small box is for Mum. The bigger one's for you. And the two bottles of wine are for both of you. I picked out a Chardonnay and a Bordeaux for you. I expect one of those would do."

Molly had been upstairs taking care of the laundry but when she heard Ron's voice float up the stairs, she quickly finished putting away Arthur's things before she headed to the kitchen to greet her youngest son. When she got downstairs, she took a moment to watch her husband and son before moving to engulf Ron in a hug of her own.

"Ron! How nice of you to drop by, dear." Though she hadn't seen him in ages, Molly couldn't find it in her heart to scold him for going off without telling anyone, as she was happy that he had finally taken the initiative to drop by without an invitation, just the way things should be. She had ignored the bag her husband and son had been peering into, as she was excited to see Ron, and she could care less about the things he had brought with him. For the moment, anyway.

Ron wrapped his arms around his mother, feeling how small she felt. He was always surprised how little she was for such a powerful force in his life. He rested his chin near her head, smelling her hair and the aroma that was unique to her; she smelled like comfort, love and home to him. He whispered in her ear, "I'm so sorry, Mum. I didn't mean to be away for so long. I have missed you."
