Arthur was back to reading that muggle magazine of his, he was rather enjoying the articles in it. Ceeloolar fellytones were still curious to him, he was going to figure that thing out. He no longer had to wonder about airo-planes, his new daughter in law took care of that for him. He began to wonder about his other children, standing once he heard. He smiled broadly when Ron walked into the room, he hadn't been expecting the visit but he was glad he came.

"Ron! My boy!" He rushed over to him and pulled him in for a hug, "How are you doing?"

"Heh, Da." Ron had set his bag on the table, and returned the hug, with great energy. He was nearly eye to eye with his father now, having grown so much in the past few years. His grin was broad, and he hugged his father again, not realizing just how much he had missed him. "I'm good, I'm good. How are you? I've brought you and Mum some things."

He turned to the bag, and slide it over to his dad. He couldn't wait to see his father's expression, when he opened it. Ron moved forward and peered down into the bag, with his father, "The small box is for Mum. The bigger one's for you. And the two bottles of wine are for both of you. I picked out a Chardonnay and a Bordeaux for you. I expect one of those would do."

Molly had been upstairs taking care of the laundry but when she heard Ron's voice float up the stairs, she quickly finished putting away Arthur's things before she headed to the kitchen to greet her youngest son. When she got downstairs, she took a moment to watch her husband and son before moving to engulf Ron in a hug of her own.

"Ron! How nice of you to drop by, dear." Though she hadn't seen him in ages, Molly couldn't find it in her heart to scold him for going off without telling anyone, as she was happy that he had finally taken the initiative to drop by without an invitation, just the way things should be. She had ignored the bag her husband and son had been peering into, as she was excited to see Ron, and she could care less about the things he had brought with him. For the moment, anyway.

Ron wrapped his arms around his mother, feeling how small she felt. He was always surprised how little she was for such a powerful force in his life. He rested his chin near her head, smelling her hair and the aroma that was unique to her; she smelled like comfort, love and home to him. He whispered in her ear, "I'm so sorry, Mum. I didn't mean to be away for so long. I have missed you."

Arthur smiled as he watched his son hug his mother. He was glad Ron was home, he knew Molly missed the kids. Best part was he brought presents, though that wasn't the only reason he was excited.

The box was big like Ron said, Arthur held it to his ear and shook it a couple times. A big smile broke out across his face when he heard things shaking inside it. He ran to sit on couch, quickly opening the box and dumping it's contents on to the coffee table.

Molly held Ron close for a few moments, listening to his apology before she turned to watch Arthur with the gifts Ron had brought. She hadn't expected her youngest son to bring them anything, but it was nice that he had thought of them. She shook her as Arthur headed to the sitting room with it as she turned her attention back to her youngest son and pressed a kiss to his cheek.

"We've missed you too, Ron." She said, eying him for a moment. "Have you had dinner yet, dear?"

Ron shook his head, "I would never come over here without an empty stomach, Mum. The smaller box is for you," and he leaned over to the table to get it and put it in her hands. "I added an enchantment for the sounds but I found it myself. Me, with no magic ( ... )

Molly didn't think Ron would come to visit on a full stomach, but she had figured she should ask anyway, given that it was getting late. When he handed her the smaller box, she offered him a smile as she opened it and saw the shell. She nodded when Ron told her about the enchantment and the fact he had found the shell by himself.

She chuckled lightly when he began to tell his story of the experience and shook her head when he started making odd gestures.

"You do, dear, but I love you anyway." Molly replied to his inquiry about looking like a monkey before replying that finding some Muggle photos of the day would be nice as well. When Ron moved to go check on Arthur, Molly followed, curious as to what her husband had gotten, as he had sounded quite excited.

Arthur picked up the peices that were spilled out in front of him. He turned one of the peices intrigued by what ever was making it shiney. He was glad his son had gotten him this thing... what ever it was.

He looked up when both his wife and son entered the room, "This is wonderful, Ron. Though, what is it?'

Ron was shaking his head at his dad, smiling and then getting serious, looking for the booklet of instructions, "Its a kit to build a Muggle toy, Dad. You have to PUT it together, not take it apart. The directions are pretty clear, just follow them step by step. It should make a little machine that moves by the sunlight. Energy from the sun powers it-they call it solar power. It doesn't need magic or anything to move; Trisha said it was a type of science toy that kids use to learn about energy sources."

He had knelt down on the floor next the the table, and looked at his dad, "I guess they are worried about running out of fuel so they keep looking for other ways to power things. Too bad we can't tell them about magic; it would save them all alot of bother."

He flashed a smile at his dad, "I thought you'd like a go at putting something together that'll move when you're done; as opposed to it moving and you taking it all apart into pieces."

"Solar power..." He muttered in awe, looking at the various peices. The muggles were most curious creatures, making toys that ran on sun power. Brilliant! "And it runs? Moves around and everything, just from the sun?"

Arthur reached for the instruction guide, as much as he wanted to guess he just didn't want to break anything, "Thank you, Ron. I love it!"
