It had taken a bit of a scramble to get here after his final class was over. He had gotten into the habit of showering after lessons due to the fumes of the student cauldrons, out of deference to the sensitive noses of his housemates, but this left him very little time to pass his detentions to a gleeful Filch and get to the house. Particularly since he had to deliver doses of Wolfsbane tonight as well.

He also had no time to brew the Impotency Potion, damn it all, and it wasn't one he kept continually in-stock. The one bottle he had found was past its date, and even he was not so much of a bastard as to risk bestowing permanent impotency during the course of merely being over-protective cautious ( ... )

Cormac gave the man a greeting smile before entering the house. It smelled heavenly. Glancing about all the desserts, he couldn't help but smile. Apparently, Mandy hadn't been exaggerating.

Keeping Snape in the corner of his eye at all times, he looked about their home. There were touches of several inhabitants, but it was orderly and oddly homey ... though that might have been the food.

Finally looking back toward Snape, he greeted him with a nod and a cordial, "Hello, Professor."

Severus Snape, on his very best behaviour, could never be called 'gracious'.

Still. He seemed determined to play the role he had designated for himself to its fullest extent. Not having, nor consciously wanting any children of his own, he had still watched over his Slytherins excessively, and this was taken to even more of an extreme with this small collection of werewolves ( ... )

Cormac moved forward and choose a smaller chair near a few seats removed from Severus. His choose had more to do with the small tray of fudge than the actual chair. Casually, he nibbled on a piece as he thought over Snape's question.

"My plans were rather halted by certain unforeseeable factors. Right now, I'm mostly trying to figure out what I want to do and watching over my mother."

For someone who hardly spent an hour outside of her room a day, the idea that Mandy had been locked inside the bathroom for the better part of an hour was not sitting well with Zak. Who had now taken to pacing up and down the hallway and occasionally knocking on the door, begging Mandy to exit. Surely something was wrong. She hardly left her room to eat, let alone spend an hour in the bathroom.

Not prone to fits of vanity or exertion over her appearance Mandy only ever visited this room of the whose for certain bodily functions. Now, however, fingers ran over silvery scars and rubber skin as she stared at her reflection.

Turning herself halfway around she admired her back that mirrored the front with criss-crossing scars and burnt skin. She exhaled and placed her hands on her hips. Was she really going to do this?

Shaking her hair out that was down from its usual ponytail she reached for the pair of jeans and top that was folded on the sink. Dressing quickly she chanced one final look at herself and pouted. What part of ( ... )

Cormac stood, giving her a happy smile as she arrived. He'd barely remembered what she looked like honestly. Taking in her appearance, noting that she'd made an effort to look nice, he grinned in appreciation.

"If that's the end result, I don't mind in the least."

Knowing very well that Professor Snape was probably snarling at his back, he made an effort not to look back at the man. Snape would either come to accept him or not. He wasn't going to change his quite harmless behavior simply to humor the man ... unless he yelled, of course.

"Do you have your suit?"

Snarling. Glowering. Scowling. Sneering.

Severus was doing all this and more. However, contrary to his behaviour, he was not her father, (though old enough to be), and really had little right to even suggest her actions, let alone try to forbid them ( ... )

A smile spread over her lips as she caught the veiled compliment and moved further into the room. She had hardly allowed herself the vanity or the time out of her old armchair to primp and preen over the last year and had quite forgotten how nice it was to have ones appearance appreciated.

The sudden motion of Severus rising and moving towards her was enough to nearly send her shuffling backwards towards the stairs. She nodded softly and watched as he transfigured the robe before handing it to her, in her hands she could feel the soft warmth it gave off, "Ohh.." A pause. "Thanks, Professor." She said with a nod before starting to move away. Stopping though as she realized he wasn't quite finished with his 'gifting'.

The mere mention of the contraceptive potion was enough to cause heat to rise in her cheeks, staining them a bright red.

She'd never even been felt up!!And here he was offering her contraception. Unbelievable ( ... )
