Diagon Alley was as boisterous as usual, and it took him a few minutes to come upon where he thought Lavender's flat might be. He happened to look up and see her head peering down at him, so he waved to her and said, "Hello!". The woman was more than a bit man-hungry, but he was happy to oblige. He liked women as much or more than she liked men.
He took the stairs two at a time and arrived at her door slightly breathless. He paused to make sure that the flowers he had bought down the street looked appealing and then knocked, expecting that she would be just on the other side of the door, ready to open it.

"Hi!" she said, again, beaming at him. "Welcome to my humble home," she said, fighting back a giggle for the moment. Her eyes flew to the flowers and she gasped. "Ooooh -- are, are those for me?" She motioned to the flowers, letting a giggle escape her. "Oooh Adrian! They're lovely!" she squealed, reaching for them. No one had bought her flowers in a long time. She took the flowers from him with a tremendous smile and then headed towards the kitchen to find a vase for them. "Come in, come in!" she said. "I'll just put these under some water and then, well, would you like a drink, Adrian?"

He sat on the couch and waited for Lavender to join him, humming to himself patiently while looking out through the porch to the sky beyond.

"Uhm," said Lavender after setting the vase on the counter so that Parvati would notice it from whenever she came out of her room. "So, what's your pleasure?" she said. "I've gone some.. Some firewhisky, some rum, we're got some wine here somewhere.." She dashed to her room quickly to bring the stuff that she had stashed there. "Ice, no ice?" She giggled, pouring herself a rum and coke. "I serve tea, not alcohol, so I hope that I do alright -- Unless you'd like some tea instead, Adrian?"
She walked inside the room, taking a sip of her own drink. "Isn't it a lovely porch?" she said. "Parvati and I just fell in love with it the first moment we saw it... We knew we had to get this place."
