Seamus stood outside the doorway of Hex Me Up in Diagon Alley, waiting impatiently for the place to open. It was Monday morning. It was a beautiful summer’s day. He was off to see the Kestrels play a series against the Caerphilly Catapults in one short hour with his girlfriend, Luna Lovegood. He should have been excited, happy, pleased and bouncing off the walls with joy. Instead he was fuming, grumpy and irritated. He’d just come from the Ministry of Magic. Nothing like reporting in to the Registry on your exact whereabouts for the next three days to bring down your spirits.

Finnigan of Kenmare, Ireland. It didn’t set well at all. He was entirely too reminded of exactly how his kin in Belfast were known to rail against the British government. This morning, he felt very much the Irish lad in London that he was every day.
He’d gotten up early to run, since his exercise regimen seemed to be helping his insomnia. He’d not slept all night last night, but he did on occasion, and that was better than it had been for months. He showered, dressed, packed and then headed over to the Ministry of Magic by 9 a.m., so he’d have time to come here, to Hex Me Up, to try one last time to find a present for his lady love, his Luna. He’d been looking for something to surprise her for weeks and had come up empty handed every time. Hopefully, Colin would be able to help him find something Luna would like. If not, he was ready to give up.
Now, if only the shoppe would open so he could be back to The Leaky Cauldron by 11 a.m.! He and Luna were meeting there at 11 a.m. to take their portkey to Bodmin Moor…
