The door flew open not more than a second later. Padma's hair had been curled, -- something she bothered with once in a blue moon -- and she was dressed in a muggle leather jacket with a silver and black crest on it of an eagle spreading its wings for take off. It was most likely a transfigured garment. It was zipped half way up, showing just the neckline of her bright red top. She was wearing a pair of rather skin-tight black jeans to compliment the whole outfit.

"Come on in, Terry," Padma said, grinning broadly as she stepped back, twirling slightly for him. "What do you think? Promise I'll make yours quite a bit more understated."

(I hate LJ. :D)

A small hand up to his glasses to keep them from sliding, Terry smiled automatically as the door swung open in front of him. Then, he saw her attire; dark eyebrows flew up. --It was- tight. Literally, tight. But, that wasn't to say it was a bad outfit. On the contrary, it was quite attractive- and it definitely suited her- complimenting her skin tone and the like. (A bystander might have thought he was checking her out. --But they would have been wrong.)

"Why Padma," he exclaimed, crossing over the threshold into her flat, his hands clasped together. "--What do I think? I think I might be straight after all." Terry gave her a playful smile-- inwardly thanking Merlin that he was away from the lift and corridor. "-No, really- I think you look ravishing, love."

Padma laughed brightly before turning and grinning at him, "Straight? Don't tease a girl, Terry," She said, stepping in next to him and kissing him lightly on the cheek before moving to close the door. Turning around and resting her back against it, she glanced over his clothing briefly, the gears in her head turning. "I think I can manage with this," She said softly. "You wouldn't mind a little leather as long as you could easily ditch it if it got to stifling, right?"

Terry pecked Padma's cheek in return, quickly- before she moved away. She was one of the very few people he would let that close without freaking out- and one of the very, very few he allowed to kiss him.

He then watched with a bemused smile as Padma pondered his apparel. He could almost see wheels turning- and then- ...leather? He had his jacket with him-- Terry sighed and shook his head, smiling. "That'd be fine- so long as I can easily ditch it."

"Hello, my good man, it's nearly six, and I must proceed, I MUST PROCEED!" Myron crashed into the main doors, looking his most stylishly flamboyant. Not a single strand of hair was ruffled, even as he came running - his sunglasses sitting perfectly on the bridge of his nose - a diva, a real diva ( ... )

Padma arched an eyebrow at the vibrant -- need we say, hyperactive -- knocking at her door, swallowing a pained groan. Oh, this was going to be an interesting night. Glancing up Terry, Padma sighed, "I'm really, really sorry for putting you through this. And I promise to make it up to you tomorrow." Kissing Terry briefly on the cheek and quickly wiping away a smudge of lipstick -- non-smear, my ass -- Padma stood and strided over to the door, pulling out open.

Leaning slightly on the open door, Padma smirked, "Two boys in one night. The doorman probably thinks I'm some kind of freak. Come on in, Myron. Terry's already here, and we're ready to go. Well, ready as we'll ever be."

Terry moved on the sofa as Padma got up to answer the door. With the sudden change in weight, the couch had seemingly deflated and he had to use the armrest to pull himself from the crack between two cushions he'd fallen into. "Oof-" It only took a moment-- and- He was free! And just in time, as the door opened to reveal a tall, slim man in a rather- shiny outfit. Terry blinked and re-adjusted his spectacles.

Then, realising he'd gone rigid, Terry lifted a hand to rub at the place Padma kissed, certain he could still feel lipstick, but kept his eyes fixed on --Myron.

This was the man behind the journal, then. This was the man who envied the lives of pink bunnies.

Huh.

"Ta-da!" Myron entered the room with a wide smile that seemed a bit artificial in combination with the ultra-stylish glasses - but of course, he was very sincere. It was the quality of non-handmade things to artificialize everything and there was not much to do about it ( ... )
