Just a quick post due to a strange keyboard: it is my last night in Rome, and after a fairly nice trip, my mom had caught the flu and is lying in bed sick. Alright. Had a dry run for my conference presentation today.

Since then I have had a beer.....and I have descended to a new low. I am eating Betty Crocker Whipped chocolate icing with a spoon for dinner.

For anyone considering grad school: don't do it.

So this weekend was my mom's big transplant fundraiser so she brought me along and I thought I would summarize....since it was a pretty neat evening.
