Oh yeah....there are other things on the ballot....
It occured to me, in the midst of the Obama/McCain hullabaloo that there will be a ton of other things/people on this ballot that no one is talking about. And actually I've found it's remarkably harder to find much information about these other people running for smaller offices, but here's a teensy glimpse into some stuff that I found. Mind you,

It is VERY IMPORTANT for people living in Maryland to VOTE NO ON QUESTION 2. They've worded it so looks like they are helping education. They are not. They are helping to put Marylanders billions of dollars in debt because of gambling and give a small amount to schools instead of actually funding the schools like they're sposta.
