Sci-Fi and Bio-Chem? What about a thesis on how the sociopolitical attitudes relating to real Bio-Chem are reflected in sci-fi from that era?

Speaking of science fiction type thesis thingies, wilbot on my f-list did her thesis on the role of women in religion within science fiction written by women (Ursula K. Leguin, Octavia Butler, et al). Not really all that related, but you post reminded me of it. It's been a while since that whole school thing happened.

hmmm, the biochem thing might be interesting. i already touched on something like that in a paper i wrote back in high school comparing "the island of dr. moreau" to genetic engineering. as you can tell, this is something i've been interested in for quite a while.

as well... i'm thinking about buying a computer from FutureShop... any deals i should take advantage of? I'm looking for an AMD 64 X2....
