well, that's another birthday come and gone. i'm now a member of the quarter-century club.

went out for dinner with my family last night at red lobster to celebrate. i love seafood, but red lobster is pretty much the only seafood restaurant in town, and my family has something against it for some reason, so the only day i can convince them to go

well, for my just-passed birthday, i got (among other things) some board games, some straws that make a squealy noise when you drink through them, lots and lots of stickers, a cake pan shaped like a volkswagen beetle, some mugs with alice in wonderland on them, a thomas the tank engine book and some mr. men books... you'd think i was turning five! (i also got the usual cds and other good things, of course.) good to know that we can be old and juvenile together.
