Who could use a happy story?

That story is beautiful! Why aren't there more stories like this being talked about? I know my church (Roman Catholic)has been loudly preaching religious tolerance and support for religious freedom in general as well as the specific right to build for the mosque/religious centre near the WTC site. I don't get where people start spouting in the media that 70% of Americans are against it. Who the hell are they asking??

As to our OT3? I can only imagine what they're getting up to when your back is turned ;-)

Exactly. I'm tired of so much media attention being paid to wingnut blowhards who want to burn the Qur'an instead of to the majority of the religious community, who I know are strongly against that kind of douchebaggery. That's why it was so refreshing and heartening to see a story like this, in my local news no less!

What a great story. Wish more Christians would be that tolerant, and I say that as a Christian myself.

Totally. I am not a Christian, but that almost has me considering checking out a service at the Summit Christian Church, because a message of peace is one I can totally get behind even if I'm not technically a religious person.
