Who could use a happy story?
On this sad anniversary when every channel on TV will show nothing but political crap and endless slow-mo shots of the towers falling down, I thought you all might like an actual happy story. From right here in Reno!
I read this in the news yesterday, and it honestly made me well up.

A simple gift of flowers has left local Muslims "touched during a difficult time," said Rafik Beekun, a member of the Northern Nevada Muslim Cultural Center.
A vase of colorful blooms, and a second large bouquet were delivered to the mosque from members of Summit Christian Church Friday, one day before the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

The flowers were delivered to the mosque just after morning prayers concluded on Friday. The card inside read, "May God's peace prevail in a world filled with turmoil. From your friends at Summit Christian Church."
"We are very grateful to the people of Northern Nevada for being with us and standing with us," said Imam Abdul Barghouthi. "We will cherish this for the rest of our lives."
And, in other happy news, blue suit Ten is out of his box and has taken his place in the Loved 'verse action playset, on my designated Doctor Who shelf at work! Behold!
