The End of Time (pt. 2) picspam, the first

Jan 04, 2010 15:45

Hi all. Welcome to a sad day indeed and this, my last new-Ten-episode picspam. I started doing these almost unintentionally about midway through S4, when I discovered that I could screencap through VLC. They seemed to grow bigger and more all-consuming with each one I did, until at last count they were topping 100-150 caps per review. This one? ( Read more... )

Hee, you quoted my Barrowman joke, hooray!

Gorgeous screencaps. I welled up AGAIN just looking at the Wilf-Ten scene on the spaceship. Cribbins! *shakes fist*

Not that anyone will ever confirm or deny, but my pet theory is that the Time Lord woman is Susan, his granddaughter. Mostly based on the fact that when Wilf asks who she was, the Doctor looks from Wilf very pointedly to Donna. I'm sure some people are probably saying that it was Time Lord!Donna in some wibbly-wobbly way, but I think it was the granddaughter analogy that was being made there. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

"Cribbins" has been our general-purpose curse around here for the last few weeks. "Oh Cribbins, we're out of milk!"

Ahhhh! You left him there all bloody and unable to move! And we know that the part 2 isn't going to end any happier. *hugs Ten tight*

I'm with you on not needing to see the end of time war. Ten's description was enough.

Hee. I loved the Master's expression when Ten called him stupid. And the whole gun conversation was beautiful.

Oh, hon *pats*. Thanks for taking one for the team on this. I still haven't watched it again, though I've watched the Confidential, and that had me (finally) breaking down into a sobbing mess at my desk. I was a little self-conscious when I was watching the finale with my father and sister, and I think that kept me from really letting loose, but you're right - the scene with Wilf and the Doctor on the ship is just heartbreaking.

I love your pispams, they're always so beautifully done. It's strange but I love the heartbreaking parts of this episode; they're done so elegantly.

Brilliant! Thanks so much for sharing these. I could look at them over and over again. (In fact, I did!)
