I do love it when the boys occasionally run across a sympathetic civilian, whether the supernatural is involved or not.

"Drove eighteen hundred miles with him sittin' eighteen inches away from me. Yeah, he's sick too."

No offense to our beloved Impala, but I bet it's like a petri dish at times. Especially when Sam and Dean were younger. (ETA: Well, any car would be, really. Season 7 - Impala's in hiding.)

Oh, I would definitely think so! Sitting so close to each other, sneezing and coughing... I'm sure when they were kids, they passed illnesses back and forth all the time.

Glad you enjoyed the fic!

Aww, how sweet. I'm glad someone is occasionally willing to help take care of the boys. :)

Thank you! Yes, I had to give them some downtime and soup - it's been a tough season!

My brain kept switching who it was at the counter. Heh.

Also, I know exactly where she knows him from--the TV news. Those Winchester brothers that went on a killing spree a few months back, then suddenly disappeared.

Some say it was a media hoax.

There's a really ambitious up-and-coming reporter who wants to do a follow-up "where are they now" type story on the Winchester Brothers.

But Audrey watches way to much TV to be able to sort that out.

He's familiar, and he's sick, and he's non-threatening, and he gets soup.

Because the boys need some unsolicited help every now and again.

:-)

Audrey is somewhat of a version of me - my "facial recognition software" doesn't work worth BEANS. I constantly see people I think I know, but can't for the life of me fathom who they are. Or, I'll be watching a TV show and know I've seen a particular actor before, but I can't even begin to place them. (Thank heaven for IMDB.)

Anyway, yes, she saw the (Leviathan) boys on the news reports. But for all she knows, they were American Idol contestants. Or supporting players on "House." :)

Glad you enjoyed it - I think we were all in need of some soup this week!

The boys need some unsolicited soup.

Yes.

And pie. Unsolicited pie.

*nods*

There needs to be a chain of small restaurants, that sell nothing but homemade soup (with bread and butter) and pie.

The world needs this. Stat.

YEsm, they need a little more of that benefit, and a little less of doubt... but I do hope they've stayed before, not that she really recognizes him for his tV appearances- her sister would be most upset!

Right - wait till Annabeth finds out there were grave-robbing serial killers in Room 14! The fur will fly for sure...

Glad you enjoyed the fic! :)

I really love outsider POVs.
And it's certainly nice that they get a break once in a while. So thank you for nice ladies that bring soup to sick people and don't clearly remember the looks of mass-murderers

I have to say, if Dean (and/or Sam) showed up where I was working, all feverish and snuffling and wobbly, I would certainly supply the soup!

Glad you enjoyed the story. :)
