Thank you! And, yes, I felt rather comfortable writing this, so I suspect I might wander into Twilight fanfic again sometime. And soon, too. ;)

I knew I should've commented last night! Because then I would've been first!

<.<

Dear Anna,

I would hate you if I didn't love you so hard. Because your writing is just so incredible. From about the second word of the drabble I was sucked into Alice's mind and the way she sees things, and you just did everything in this piece so well. Perhaps I love the "necessary prop" line best. Or the last paragraph.

*actually blushes* Leslie, you're too nice to me. Too nice, yet your comment makes me grin stupidly and I feel oddly optimistic about myself and my words.

And I love you, too. :D

Thank you! And, no, sadly not yet, though I'm definitely planning on writing more. Or, rather, I can't see how I'll be able to stay away from the fandom or the pairing. ;)

This is absolute perfection! Everything is so vivid and wonderfully detailed. I especially like this:

I might have envisioned it as a book, indexed and chaptered; something that somehow made sense, no matter how impossible the details were to grasp. Perhaps I would have thought of a map, crisscrossed with lines and landscapes that I might follow to various conclusions.

And this too:

Details that would, I knew, coincide endless times in the future, and that would sooner or later be the backdrop of what I was waiting for.

:) Beautiful!
