Cordy packed the last of her possessions and looked around her empty apartment. Over five years living there, but it'd never been home.
She thought about the choices that had led to this moment. Her decision to move to Los Angeles after graduation. Angel's decision to leave Sunnydale. Their meeting again and forming Angel Investigations.
"What're you thinking about?" Angel asked, sliding his arms around her.
"This moment."
"Regrets?"
She smiled. "No. I wouldn't trade this for anything."
"I love you, Cordy."
"I love you, too, Angel."
He kissed her softly and took her hand in his. "Let's go home."
