Cordelia stood at the window watching as a blanket of snow covered the ground. For only the second time in her life, it was snowing in southern California.
Angel walked up behind her, pulling her to him. "What are you doing?"
"Thinking."
"About what?"
"How different our lives are since the last time it snowed."
He smiled. "And I wouldn't trade that journey for the world."
She turned, laying a hand on his cheek. "Neither would I."
He brought it down, kissing it, the newly acquired diamond sparkling in the moonlight. "I love you, Cordy."
"And I love you, Angel."
