The rose was lying on her desk when she arrived that morning. There was a note. "Cordy, you are my life, my love, my everything. I love you, Angel."
"Oh, Angel," she whispered as first one tear and then another slipped down her pretty face.
"It's true," a decidedly masculine voice told her.
She turned, seeing him standing there, a smile upon his face.
"I love you so very much and I don't want to live without you," he told her, brushing her tears away.
"I love you, too, Angel."
And with those words, Angel lowered his lips to hers.
