As Angel looked into Cordy's hazel eyes he wondered, not for the first time, how this woman knew him so well. How was it she knew exactly what to say to make him feel better?
"Angel, when are you going to realize that no one knows you like I do?" she answered his unspoken question.
"And I'm grateful for that fact each and every day."
Cordy took his hand. "I love you. You know that, right?"
Angel smiled that smile she loved so much; the one that lit up his entire face. "I do now. And I love you, Cordy."
