Elizabeth can't remember the light.
All she knows is the dark dampness of the cell she's been in for...
She can't remember.
She barely remembers Atlantis, but somehow, her mind recalls its people with perfect precision, especially John.
She remembers his last words to her, "I'll come back for you!"
When the door to her cell opens, revealing a small trace of light that attacks her eyes, she shies away from it, cowering in a corner with her hands on her face, but the voice that her ears receive acts like a gunshot through her heart.
Her voice trembles, "John?"
