Argh, I'm so sorry I didn't do this sooner, I totally forgot I hadn't finished writing this! D8

So, firstly: Like I said in my app, I love fics that reference specific canon events and times, and this has like ALL THE CANON. I love Nakamaru and Ueda as friends as well as in a relationship and I love that this fic goes right from the beginning. And I always love hearing about them going on random trips together, so it was nice to have one of them included, too.

"Taguchi," said Nakamaru, "you're being annoying."

Ueda looked up, met Nakamaru's eyes, and fell in love.I love these lines for some reason. ♥ I like that it was so quick and that it happened at that moment. XD

I love sad endings or bittersweet endings and this was ♥ I still see some kind of...ray of hope for Ueda though, even if things didn't go as he wished ♥

Okay, so I didn't read the warning at all and was expecting a happy ot3 fic but then I started reading and. my heart. Ueda ;__; ♥♥ I loved this fic so much. Their junior days felt so real, their relationship growing so naturally... and then everything backfired before Ueda even had a say. And then the title and Ueda standing in the snow (I always associate Ueda with snow ♥), it's all so bittersweet. Sweet because Nakamaru will never find Ueda 'gross' and bitter because it's too late for Ueda to do anything with that knowledge. I loved this a lot, anon. I don't often read pairing fics that aren't Kame-centric but I thoroughly enjoyed how you wrote Nakamaru and Ueda (especially Ueda because he's still somewhat of an enigma to me) and the easy relationship they have. ♥

I almost started plotting a "sequel" like five years later or something because it felt unfair to Yuichi if, like, Ueda went and tried or at least finally voiced his emotions when the fic just ended. But I was thinking maybe later on . . .
